Copying Opportunities & Quotes
Archived items may also be duplicated or copied, and are added to the list of opportunities.
Opportunities, quotes, and submitted orders can be copied within or between projects for quick reproduction of work for another job, or to quickly create variations of a quote.
Copying is done from the Project workspace; transmitted orders, archived quotes, and older revisions of existing quotes can all be copied.

Considerations when copying from one project to another:
- Regardless of if the copied order is an opportunity, quote, or transmitted order, it will always become an opportunity when copied to a new project.
- Copying in no way affects the original order.
- Copied items will always start with no revision history.
- Copying is disabled between projects in different world regions.
To copy:
Open the project you wish to copy from and select the opportunity.
From the toolbar, click Copy
.
If copying to another project, either close the current project and open the target project or open a second instance of Spectrum.
From the toolbar, click Paste
.
The copied item appears in the list of opportunities and has "-copy" appended to the name.
